In honor of the last Monday Red Day of the 2022-2023 year, we did RED things today (while we have a Color of the Month, we also have a color attributed to each day…yes, there are many conversations about this mind bender).
RED PAINTING: How did people get red paint on the big floor paper? Did you do it? How did people get clean afterwards? Who gave you more paint? What was the plan if the paper ripped?

RED SNACK: What red things were there for you to eat? Who brought the snack today? Was there a store for any of them? Where can you go to get towels to wipe up spills? Who surprised Ms Kristin when they got ON THE FLOOR to help clean up a spill?

RED BOOK: Who wore a red thing in the book you read? What did you get to eat while Ms Kristin read? Who gave it to you? What does it mean to “draw the covers?”

RED DAY FRIENDS: Everyone had red on their picture card and some people had other colors too. Who had only red and got to take their picture home today? What else did they take home?
RED CLASS PLAYS: During Work Time, you had a lot of free time. There was no Alphabet Project or Journal Time. There was a lot of playing. What did you do?

RED CLASS REMEMBERS THE YEAR: While Ms Kristin pushed friends on the big swing, she played Raffi music on the speaker. Did you go on the big swing? What Christmas song did we listen to and sing along to?
