Dressing up, muddy mountain and eating chocolate: TUESDAY K WEEK

Our Tuesday “Yellow Day” Class welcomed December with lots of red things and Christmas songs. Everyone was here and we divided our time between inside and outside. There was a lot of activity in the Puzzle Corner. At Circle Time we talked about kings then chose between a baby king or a kid king.

Here are five questions to learn more about today…

Who did we watch climb up a ladder and down a ladder today?

What K things did we have for snack today?

What color birds did we start making today?

What new dress up clothes did we have today?

What was closed outside today?

1. Who did we watch climb up a ladder and down a ladder today?

Santa! When he reached the bottom we knew it was time to go get our coats and backpacks. Here’s a movie to show you:

2. What K things did we have for snack today?

Scarlet brought 5 K things today: Kool-Aid, Keebler cookies, Kit Kats, Hershey’s kisses and kiwi! It felt very festive and the snack store was very busy. Thank you, Scarlet!

We also have our pretzels and saltines and water available anytime. Thank you to the friends who helped get everything ready for us today.

3. What color birds did we start making today?

Red! We added wings, feathers beaks and eyes.

Ms Brenda and friends did some math work to figure out how many more we needed to have enough for everyone. There will be a whole flock of birds for our Christmas program party.

4. What new dress up clothes did we have today?

Santa outfits!

Also, did you know that tree skirts make wonderful people skirts or capes?

5. What was closed outside today?

The dirt hill! It was still very muddy so we closed it and played everywhere else on the playground.
