The number 50, blue mouths, defying gravity and being the star of our tree: FRIDAY L WEEK

Our Friday “Purple Day” Class ended the week with a rainy day, which kept us inside. There was no shortage of playtime and cozy group times as we focused on light, little and length. Some hot spots: Lego Land, car tunnel, play dough, Jumping Land, Grandma Bonnie’s ice skating card and the Puzzle Corner.

Read on to find more about today:

How many people all together are there in our school?

What did Golden Letter friend Lane bring for snack today?

How many stickers did you put on your Christmas tree?

Why did the porcupine run home to his mama crying?

Why was clean up time so loud today?

1. How many people all together are there in our school?

50!

We counted them today and got to 49. But then with Theo’s dad Mr Aaron we made it to 50! Amazing!

2.What did Golden Letter friend Lane bring for snack today?

Lays potato chips, vanilla wafers, and lemonade! One funny thing was that Walter’s chip stuck to his shirt and it looked like it was defying gravity!

Henry R brought treats that looks like Legos. If someone ate a blue one, they had a very blue mouth which made a lot of us giggle.

Thank you Lane and Henry!

3. How many stickers did you put on your Christmas tree?

Check your tree!

There was a lot of counting today and one friend added one more sticker so that he had 50-just as old as I am.

4. Why did the porcupine run home to his mama crying?

The friends at his school were saying hurtful things to him and called him a stick ball.

But in the end porcupine ended up being the star on the Christmas tree, just like us with our projects.

5. Why was clean up time so loud today?

Because we had to clean up Lego Land and all the cars from the tunnel! Ms Brenda brought over some dust pans, which worked well as Lego scoops.

Merry Christmas, sweet friends! You are the light of our lives.
