when your teacher plans an activity to roll balls down the paint box but the paint is too think and the balls too light, make sure you have another teacher strong enough to pick the box up. “go mr rob! go mr rob! go mr rob!” ah, yes, adaptability is key.

i thought i was being clever to post a few while i was out of town, i just found them in my “drafts.” here they are a few at a time…
p is for paint on the art roller
sooner than i thought, we did it. the kids had hands full of paint after some apple rolling and after they made a print in their journal (an opportunity i don’t like to miss), they went to the art roller. it only confirmed my desire to slather that thing up. soon. and maybe outside.
a is for apple pie

f is for fix it
count on my thursday class to see a need for tape. the apple rolling box was shifting oh so slightly on the boards. “tape!!!!” was called out. tape was used. those boards don’t budge now. : )
