A communion cup of M&Ms, mouse ears in the trash, a sad pig and mirror balls: THURSDAY M WEEK

A communion cup of M&Ms, mouse ears in the trash, a sad pig and mirror balls: THURSDAY M WEEK

Our Thursday “Blue Day” Class had the honor of welcoming in 2024 with M Week. We had a wonderful first day back with a Golden Letter friend too. The play was constructive and there were rounds of applause for the moments of conflict resolution that requires no teacher input. We started looking at pictures of Dr. King knowing his birthday will be celebrated later this month. In the same way he looked at himself and the world, we are looking at ourselves and the world. A day like today reminds me of how much magic happens and we since we can’t bottle it up and send it home with you, here are five questions to learn a little bit more…

Some hot spots: Lego Land, car tunnel, play dough, Jumping Land, Grandma Bonnie’s ice skating card and the Puzzle Corner.

19 questions where the answers are all yes: WEDNESDAY’S Christmas Program Edition

Our Wednesday “Green Day” Class hosted the second of two Christmas programs. We had an hour and a half to get everything else done before joining our special people in the sanctuary. We changed our schedule today and ate snack early today. This means we had Circle Time early today. This means we did our projects and outside play earlier today too. In that short amount of time we played hard! We were outside when our special people started to arrive…how fun to see them while we played, including some former preschoolers!
