Our Monday “Red Day” Class welcomed L week with a Golden Letter friend! Lane was our line leader and we thanked him for all of his help today. Our Friday “Purple Day” Class worked a lot with the letter K today. We painted with pretend ketchup, we turned Ks into Kings, we read books about kindness and we talked about keys at Circle Time. We also dressed up like Santa, finished up our flock of red birds and made more candy cane ornaments in preparation for next week, our last week before Christmas break. We did all of this with the help of another teacher friend, Theo’s daddy Mr Aaron! Thank you, Mr Aaron!

Our Thursday “Blue Day” Class had a busy day with more king play, more Christmas tree decorating, more red bird making, more Christmas book reading and more play together. The oven from the Family Corner moved to the Big Table so we could make pretend Christmas cookies too. The ladder climbing Santa once again mesmerized children while we gathered to go outside.

Our Wednesday “Green Day” Class had more fun play honoring December with puzzles, jingle bells and red things. Everyone also got to take home a book today. They were gifts from a church friend…so special!

Our Tuesday “Yellow Day” Class welcomed December with lots of red things and Christmas songs. Everyone was here and we divided our time between inside and outside. There was a lot of activity in the Puzzle Corner. At Circle Time we talked about kings then chose between a baby king or a kid king.
