one time at preschool a preschooler told me I wouldn’t be able to add the last cardboard tube to the tower because it would hit the ceiling. take a close look. oh yeah!?!?good times.

d is for dirt designs
we have been working on our glue bottle skills and last week moved from dots to lines. after making designs with glue, the preschoolers carried their plates to tubs of dirt, covered them with dirt, tipped off the excess dirt and revealed amazing dirt designs!

b is for blankets
among our most commonly used items are our blankets. we have over a dozen of them…knit, crocheted, fleece, quilts, flannel. we have tiny doll blankets all the way to twin sized afghans. one day I had the beautiful life experience of being tucked in under a pile of blankets. a sweet surprise.
s is for smoke detector
well, I don’t usually test our smoke detectors during preschool hours…especially during the first weeks of school…because they are really loud. but if someone brings candles with snack and we put one in each clementine and then light them one at a time and let each blow it out….then the smoke detector will go off….moreContinue reading “s is for smoke detector”
