if you look under our water table you will find a hose.  if the teachers only put one bucket of water in the tub table, there is no way you can overflow your bucket when the teachers say you can open the hose!

there was a lot of figuring in how to pour the bucket back in the tub table without letting more water out.

they got it!  over and over.  and yes, if it seems like there are a lot of boys in the group, there are.  all but two of the class in fact.
