the last days meant we hauled everything out for water play.
we used our rocking boat as a road blocker.
we used the curb edge of our dead end driveway for a river.
we used any sticks and gravel we could find for a dam.
we used the dammed water for a jumping hole.
we used our gutter and bench for a waterfall.
we took turns with the hose.
if i could have my dream preschool,
there would be thirteen hoses
(using recycled water, of course).
everytime i do this kind of all-out water play,
i think i should be more intentional about planning for it.
{getting extra clothes, finding towels, taking shoes off, etc.}
it is a good time.
It looks like Gustav had A LOT of fun. He was in his element. The other children were gracious in letting him take control of the hose for so long.

Kristin, I have loved your website for a couple of years. I wish that we lived nearby your preschool so my children could attend and i could work there with you and Rob. Oh well. Thank you for the fabulous ideas. I try to incorporate some of them at home for my children’s enjoyment and I am following your pinterest with great interest.

We love water play at our preschool! Sadly, we don’t even have one hose bib to use, so we have to carry the water out in buckets. Great pictures!
