s is for {glue bottle lids frozen in ice and used as} snow baby noses

one of our projects for the week was making snow babies based on a favorite book, snowballs.

just like the book we were using found objects for facial features.  but how tricky:

the glue lids we were going to use for carrot noses were stuck in ice!

we had to work, work, work to get them out. no injuries were had and we were grateful for warm water to warm up with.

in fact, one class had the idea to put them in the warm water during snack time.  success! freed snow people noses!

then we could glue everything together and deliver them to “snow daddy” mr matt.

oh, snow babies.
