t is for teeth
we brushed our teeth with water all week long. some children brought a toothbrush from home, some used one from ms. stacey and a dentist in town (thank you, again!). one of our projects was teeth counting and drawing. every single preschooler had 20 teeth!

s is for (paper) snake
at christmas, there was a super long piece of packaging paper that i saved. with masking tape, santana the snake was born. i added a plastic jar filled with beads for a rattling tail: then baby snakes were born (made with tissue paper and tape): silly, slithering, not slimy, sweet snakes.
s is for spring!
we were on spring break for st. patrick’s day and the first day of spring, but we snuck a little spring project in beforehand. this was a simple grass cutting project. who knew me explaining the project would be so interesting? the children were encouraged to cut as skinny of pieces as they could.
