n is for newspaper nest
we had newspapers at a “newspaper stand” all week and in the last day we shredded some with my paper shredder from home (exciting stuff).
l is for lego freestyle
the plan: 1. make what you want with the little legos. 2. carry your sculpture to the white board (a random white laminate shelf that’s been floating around). 3. write your name on the white board with a dry erase marker. 4. get a teacher to take a picture of it. 5. move your sculpture.Continue reading “l is for lego freestyle”
w is for work time
noticed around the room during work time.
n is for {happy} new year
enough 2s, 0s, 1s and 5s cut out for everyone. a tub full of fluffy glittery plastic-bag like stuff to press a glue covered plate into. tricky teachers pasted only some of the numbers on. clever preschoolers figured out which number (we also call them numerals) is missing. nice!! and happy 2015!
