to practice that cutting-on-the-line skill, we cut the egg white (now that we know how to turn the egg white white!) and added a big yellow sticker for the yolk. the stickers were cut from a roll of adhesive stuff found at the thrift shop. it was nice and shiny.

e is for elephant
e week gave room for some elephant fun. we washed elephants and brushed their teeth, made forests for them, made elephant colored paper all while listening to one elephant went out to play. (we introduced the concept of a “math sentence” with this color blending activity…seed planting, you know) nice clean tusks!
d is for sunset dinosaurs
watercolor background, black paper dinosaurs, mounted on flat paper. most children opted for a hill for the dinosaurs to walk on or in front of. it seems like the dinos are heading off into the sunset…or sunrise.
