Together apart: a preschool pandemic story

“New Creation Preschool has always been a lively and colorful place where children are invited to explore, discover and create. In operation since 1994, the classroom bustles with rainbows and children climbing on anything they are able to. On March 19, 2020 the decision was made to close the building in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. This book tells the story of how one little preschool shifted their program to an online platform. Once serving about 50 families from the local community, their online Circle Times and Zoom School sessions now reached hundreds of children. 

During a time of great unrest in our world due to the pandemic, racial injustice and political tensions, Ms Kristin and New Creation Preschool provided space to learn, laugh and breathe together. They found strength and joy in doing preschool together…while they were apart.”
