whew! now THAT was a good time. so much work, a little worry, totally worth it.
armed with map name tags of our actual destinations, oodles of parents and grandparents, we set off for downtown!
i gathered some interesting facts about our town and the places were would visit.
and after caravaning our way, we met up for our tours!
every field trip included a stop at pages bookshop for snacks and a book shop/tea lounge/coffee shop/art gallery tour.

thursday morning we went to visit a preschool mama in her job at the court house.

thursday afternoon we went to the public library for our own special story time.

friday morning we went to the police station for a tour. it was amazingly in depth!

and then-just like that-we were done. home again, home again.
