A red 3D machine, cutting up X-rays, a massive clean up, eating Xs and walking on things: FRIDAY X WEEK

Once upon a time there was a red machine with the letters 3D on it. It showed us pictures and the pictures could change but it didn’t need batteries or to every charge. We looked at live animals in it after looking at xrays of snakes, birds and mammals. The children and teachers each took a turn to look through. What did they see?

Read on to learn about the red 3D machine, cutting up x-rays, a massive clean up, eating Xs and walking on things.

What did you see when you looked in the machine?

Children and baby chicks!

We had just looked at an xray of a bird, so this was very interesting. The battery and electricity free 3D View Master will be available to play with and press the orange lever the next time you come!

What did you glue in your journal today?

Pictures of real x-rays! We cut them apart and glued them in. There were heads, limbs and bodies,

Some friends had their own real x-rays to show and one friend’s little brother has a broken bone right now!

Our Healthcare Center was well staffed with doctors and even a mama who took things into her own hands:

“Sometimes doctors need to be rescued by a passerby who was just walking around.”

What did you do during our massive clean up?

There were some very unique sweeping techniques today and some very strong chair stackers. When children were done, they found books to look at.

Who made our edible Xs?

Charlie and his Oma! We got a detailed instruction of how they were made. Regular pretzels could also turn into x shapes too. We got a head start on Y week and had yogurt as well. Thank you, Charlie!

Did you walk on the bumpy stepping stones?

We have four very bumpy stepping stones to walk on. Today some friends added pillows between them so our feet had two very different experiences!

Enjoy more video and photos of our day!

Happy Friday, everyone!
