just a quick post to let you current families know that the school calendar, snack calendar, etc is now posted as a “page” called 2013-2014 on our blog.
on a computer you will see “2013-2014” on the sidebar.
on a phone you will need to click in “Menu” and then select “2013-2014.”
after searching for one of the calendars tonite, i wanted to make it simpler to find!
birds have feathers.
we have old ceiling tiles with holes in them and a collection of feathers. that combined made a space for fine motor practice.
i might bring this back out for f week…it didn’t get as much action as i thought it would. 😊
i appreciate the challenge of finding activities where the process is the priority but there is also a take home product. printing is perfect! last week we painted on bubble wrap taped to a table with hands and foam brushes and then made prints of the painted bubble wrap. 
the product was more stunning than i expected!
we felt eric carle-esque which was a perfect lead in to c week’s exploration of the very hungry caterpillar.
oh joy. another baby at show and tell. she is the baby sister to two big brothers in the wednesday class. really special to click here and scroll way down to the last baby photographed….that’s one of the big brothers when HE visited preschool as a baby!!
she’s just a beautiful bundle of baby.

this week we took the opportunity to make brown painted handprints from our bear hunt prep, drew with different shades of blue, and recorded our findings from feeling balloons filled with different things…
and our golden letter friends got a sparkly letter Bs on their journals:
