it is a wonderful and important tradition to have fresh fruits or vegetables with our snacks…here is the balance of pre-packaged teddy grahams with frozen peas, wheat crackers and ice cold water. scissors to open the packages and a magnifying glass to see things a bit closer (?)

c is for chalk
chalk and cups of water makes a wonderful paint paste. it is also an unexpected treat to find a tub of chalk left out in the rain. chalk that has been saturated is incredilbe brilliant and satisfying to draw with!

rich indeed. we had signs to carry investigating to do songs to learn (thank you jen and abby!) dreams to tell messages to share what a blur of memories we all hold k is for king, too. : )

during our week of weather exploration, tornado safety talking, moving like the wind, seeing the wind on bubbles and fabric, we also did some spin art. it’s such a simple tool: wood on a turntable with a magnet in the center to hold paper on with another magnet. thanks to my folks to this donation.Continue reading “s is for spin…”
