inside it was y yeek, so we made yellow flowers. these were tissue paper circles with holes in the center to thread on skewers (cutting off the pointing end first). then a teacher taped the paper and beads were added (secured with hot glue)…. “this is kind of like sewing with wood.” sure it is!

y is for yarn
i really can’t explain this because i had nothing to do with it. but most of the class was involved. and at the end of the week, i discovered it was all cleaned up.

we cut plastic binder dividers into strips, then snipped more, then pressed them on a piece of laminate, then added another piece of laminate on top. when the pieces of colored plastic would overlap, we would see color blending. beautiful.
