y is for yarn
oh, joy. we made a HUGE spider web, working on it for a week. we used donated/thrifted yarn and with four points tied to furniture, we wove and wove. under and over. sometimes the balls of yarn would be thrown to a friend across the web. only one did a supporting shelf get pulled overContinue reading “y is for yarn”
p is for parmesan cheese pitcher
when we needed a pitcher that would pour only a little water at a time, a parmesan cheese container and duct tape to cover two of the three holes worked perfectly! w is for water, too. : )
r is for raft
small sticks and strong glue (we used a glue gun) makes rafts that float! s is for stick, f is for float and w is for water, too. : )

during our week of weather exploration, tornado safety talking, moving like the wind, seeing the wind on bubbles and fabric, we also did some spin art. it’s such a simple tool: wood on a turntable with a magnet in the center to hold paper on with another magnet. thanks to my folks to this donation.Continue reading “s is for spin…”
